Happy BDay (x 2)

Seriously, this cannot be right that it was FIVE years ago when my sister was wheeled out of the operating room holding her baby girls, one in each arm. I will never forget that moment. Jude enjoying some time getting to know his new uncle Aaron (soon to be uncle that is :)....I hate to say this but I am pretty sure Jude has a hankerin' for his new buddy...maybe even more so than for Kels (sorry, Kels).

Jude just hangin' with the boys.
Showin a little lovin' for Kels (or maybe reaching for Aaron)....

Don't the following two images bring back memories of your childhood and summertime?!?!?

Way super duper late on wishing my nieces a Happy Birthday. Aren't they the sweetest things ever? I just love them so much.

We had a sleepover a few weeks back with Campbell, Landry, Rinn, and Jude (he was pumped!). We did girly things and it was so much fun. Rinn just absolutely loved it. Campbell and Landry wanted to paint their fingernails and toenails the same color as Rinny, they wanted to eat the same thing as Rinny, and they wanted to play whatever "Rinny Roo" wanted to play. Needless to say, Rinny doesn't usually get that out of her brothers. She was in heaven. When we dropped them off at Mim's the next day she got really really quiet. After awhile I turned on some music and then all of the sudden as I was driving down the highway I heard her start SOBBING. She couldn't even talk. I said "Rinn, are you hurt? Do I need to pull the car over?" All I could understand was "No, I'm not hurt." After a few minutes, we did some deep breathing and I could at least make out what she was saying. She missed Campbell and Landry and asked me if "please, could they just come and live at our house all the time?" Heartbreaking. What a sugar, that little one.

During the night of our sleepover I wanted to share some special time with each of the twins to tell them how special they are to "Nunny". I took them back into Rinn's room after their baths and looked into their eyes lovingly and was explaining how beautiful they were, how God had made them so special, and how much I really, really love them. About one minute into (what I thought was) my beautiful conversation with Campbell she looked lovingly into my eyes when I paused for a moment to gain my composure and said "Are we done now?" Ahhh...the heart of a child. "Yes, sugar...you can go play with Rinny Roo."
