Things I do in the middle of the night...

For reference the above is what Creed, Rinn, and Jude (along with the cousins and tons of others at the airport!) will be wearing.

This little hat I have had my eye on for MONTHS. I just wasn't willing to use my Gap gift card (thanks out to Amber S) to spend so much on it! So, it finally went on sale and now this is what Jude and Creed will be wearing at the airport as well.
You all know I am a HUGE baby legs fan. These will be used as "arm warmers" (see picture below). They are the colors of the Korean and US flag. A coming together of two worlds, if you will. Jude, Rinn, and Creed will be wearing these on their arms at the airport along with their beloved t's.

I finally found some super cute convertible gloves to wear in Korea. That way, I can get to stuff easy (and push my shutter) but still keep my hands warm.

Shop online, of course!

Above are the things I am OBSESSING about lately.

Side note: I realize that there are many more things I could be worrying about, like what I need to be packing. But, this is much less stressful and better than worrying about Jude. These things keep my mind occupied until the Benadryl starts to take effect (sad, but very true, friends!)

Better quite blogging for a sec, I have to go find a red, white, blue, and black bow for the little red head :)... I know, it is sick.

Oh, By the way...I have THREE pimples. I have honestly NEVER had three pimples at one time in my life. These adoption hormones are wacked out.

Old Friends

Our buddies came over to enjoy some fun together on Sunday morning. (Have I mentioned how much I love Saturday night service?!) Creed really enjoyed spending time with Marshall and Rinny loved playing with Caroline. They are just good buddies and we miss them something terrible. Little Fletcher was such a trooper allowing me to hold some of Jude's clothes up to him and try some of the many shoes on him to see for comparison, if I think they will be the right fit for Jude.

Talking with Amber reminded me how thankful I am to have friends, no matter how far away they are.

Cupcakes with Mim

Rinny enjoyed an afternoon of cupcakes with mim. What could be better in life than that? Of course, Rinn chose the pink cupcake and Mim, I am sure, didn't have one (boo on her!)

One other favorite thing Rinny likes to do is pop mim's bubbles that she blows. It really is the cutest thing ever.

Thanks for making Roose feel so special, Mim!

New Ju Ju Pic (and Update)

I was just feeling like you needed to see a newer picture of the little guy. Man, he is a cutie. Is it me, or is his hair calming WAY down?!

We love this little guy with all that we are. I know it may seem crazy. We have never seen him in person, never kissed his neck, never held him while he was sick, never rocked him to sleep. Still yet, we love him with every inch of who we are. We love him like we love the two little sugars that are asleep in the next room.

I remember hearing a quote when we first started the adoption process. It said that "Not only is another world possible. He is on his way. On a quiet day, I can hear him breathing."

The newest update on the process is that we are SO close. We have been logged in and logged out of the NVC in Washington D.C. and we are close to getting Jude's visa. This is the one piece of paperwork that we still have to have to allow him to leave Korea.

So...spill it....I know that is what you are thinking, HOW LONG?

In the adoption world (boy, have we learned this!) there are no for sures. But, we are just hoping that we are holding our child in our arms by the end of this month. Looking probable :)

I cannot wait for that day. I know that all of you can't either and that makes me super excited!

Quick Prayers...

Before you head down to see some new blogs, would you say a quick prayer for...

1. My really good buddy who desperately needs some good news this upcoming week. I know just how they feel and it is just a hard feeling. Please pray for them, if you would.

2. My stepdad, Greg. He called my mom earlier and said that she needed to meet him at the hospital. He had cut part of his finger off and he was DRIVING HIMSELF TO THE HOSPITAL. Umm, hmm...something seems wrong with this picture. Ended up, he broke the tip of his finger off (the bone and actually the tip itself). He will be in pain once the block wears off and he is meeting with an orthopedist Monday to see if he can keep that part of his finger.

3. Another loved one that needs a miracle. Pray for a miracle for them, if you would.

Prayer is a powerful tool to intercede for our loved ones and friends, believe it. I have seen it in real life a ton lately. (Thank you, friends!)

Disturbing

Photos ahead....

Fun times with the cousins today included some funky pictures...these are just awful and disturbing.

Yuck, but fun none the less.

Happy 2009!

This is how parents bring in the new year.

Me and Linds playing with the bright pink cell phone lipsticks that we stole from the little girls. These are the crazy things that happen when you have been drinking too much (Diet Dr.Pepper that is....did I mention how CRAZY we are?).
Ryan and Linds, the only non-parents there. How sweet are they to celebrate the New Year on the New York New Year (it's just too late for the CST New Year)? We are WILD, I tell ya', who wouldn't want to hang out with old people, crazy kid shows, and tantrums on New Years Eve?
The girls....
Fondue Fun...

About ready for the countdown......
